MEN OF CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH
The Men's of Christ Lutheran Church are all about helping and equipping men to be better men.  This happens by alignment with God, connectedness with each other, and service to others.

Alignment with God It is only by Christ's example and the instruction we receive in Scripture that we can begin to understand how we are called to live out our lives on this earth.  The Men's Ministries exist to help men align their own plan for living with the plan God has in mind for them.

Connectedness – Men need the nourishment they receive from healthy interaction with other men.  The Men's Ministries exist to provide opportunities for men to partner with other men.  Through these partnerships men can share their joys and struggles, and hold one another accountable, always striving forward in their journey to become better men.

Service – We are called as men to not only serve ourselves but to serve others as well.  Through service opportunities men grow in their relationships with each other and God.  They also have the opportunity to live their faith in the path of others, sharing not only their time and gifts, but the greatest gift of all - God's love.

Opportunities:
  • Tuesday Men’s Breakfast – Join a great group of guys on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7 a.m. for breakfast and fellowship.  This group meets at Bill Miller BBQ on Nacogdoches Road.
  • Men’s Retreats – Each year during Lent the men of the church go to Big Bend for a retreat.  They enjoy hiking, canoeing, and other outdoor experiences.  Additional retreats are scheduled through the year at Lutheran Camp Chrysalis for work, study, and fellowship.
  • Joseph’s Sons – This group of men of all ages meets regularly for fellowship, study, and spiritual growth.  This group is also available to work on service projects for members who need assistance.
