2011 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL & SUMMER DAY CAMP
Dear Families,
This summer Christ Lutheran Church and MacArthur Park Lutheran Church are partnering together to host three
amazing programs for your children. Because our communities are so close, we feel it will be a wonderful
opportunity for families to take advantage of the best these churches have to offer.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)- is for children who are 2-years-old (by Dec. 2010) to completed kindergarten. This awesome program will be held at MacArthur Park from 8:30-11:30 a.m. VBS will be led by trained volunteers and staff from
MacArthur Park Lutheran Church. The cost of VBS is $15 / child and includes daily chapel, art, music, snacks,

Day Camp– Day Camp Registration is Closed.
Servant Life Camp– for youth who have completed the 6th-8th grades will be held each day from 8:30 a.m.
to 3:30 p.m. at MacArthur Park Lutheran Church. Each morning youth will help with VBS, serving as teacher
assistants, craft coordinators, snack helpers, etc. Youth will bring their lunch each day. During the lunch hour,
Pastor Tracey will lead the youth in Bible study based on service and servanthood. Each afternoon, youth
will enjoy various community service projects and outings. The cost for this camp is $40 and includes all
