Get ready, because it's official! This summer our Senior High Youth Group is traveling to New York City! The overall purpose of this trip will be to experience all that the city has to offer.
The purpose of our trip has many levels! While visiting this amazing city we will learn more about it's diverse history, experience cultural differences, serve in various faith communities, participate in local events, and learn!
We are going to New York to get out of our comfort zone and really learn about the history of our amazing country, to work in underserved areas, and to walk in accompaniment with the people. For this trip, we have a strong service component, but it is also about learning and adventure! So, I am asking our youth to not worry about electronics, make-up and other things society says are important during this trip. This time together as a youth group is a perfect opportunity to bond with each other and experience God!
