JUNIOR HIGH YOUTH MINISTRY Our Junior High Youth Group includes 6th-8th graders. The primary ministry for Jr. Highers at Christ Lutheran is our confirmation program where youth come together for learning, fun, friendship, and service.
Sunday morning the youth gather in small groups at 9:15 a.m. in the Junior High Youth Rooms. This gathering time is led by caring adults who want to help youth grow in their faith journey and find their place as part of the Body of Christ. This time is divided into a topical lesson utilizing the Bible, open discussion, a related activity or game, and our Confirmation Talksheets which encourage critical conversation. Confirmation also meets in large group five Wednesday evening throughout the year. For more information please check out the confirmation page on our website.
The Jr. High youth group meets at other times outside of Sunday morning for social activities and service projects. Check the newsletter for upcoming opportunities.
In the summer, youth are encouraged to attend summer camp together for more opportunities to learn and have fun in the outdoors.
All youth, regardless of church membership, are invited to join in!
