SUNDAY MORNING EVENTS FOR CHILDREN BEGIN . . .
Sundays at 9:15 a.m., starting in the Children's Chapel!
Our goal in Children's Ministries is to partner with parents in building their child's spiritual foundation. We do this by teaching creatively, caring holistically and guiding wisely! We make church a familiar and comfortable place to be for children so they feel loved and secure, are able to build relationships with adults and peers, and can grow in their faith in God's promises of love and forgiveness.
Our Children's Sunday School program is for children who are 3 years old through the fifth grades. We meet during the school year, at 9:15 a.m. We take a break in the summer to allow our teachers a rest and to spend extra time with their families.
We begin with an "Opening Celebration" in the Children's Chapel. Opening consists of music and a message from the Bible. Children then rotate to age-appropriate workshops that further explain the story and lesson for the week.
